An orientation session was organized by the Department of Educational Sciences, NUML to brief students regarding their participation in the Door-to-Door Survey for Out-of-School Children (OOSC) in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT). The initiative is part of the national campaign titled “No Child Left Behind – 100% Literate Islamabad.”

The purpose of the event was to sensitize students about the issue of out-of-school children in Pakistan and mobilize them as volunteers to assist in community-based data collection through a structured digital platform. The session brought together representatives from policy institutions, development organizations, and academia to guide students regarding the objectives, methodology, and expected outcomes of the survey.
