The Department of Spanish language organized a Cultural Activity: Exploring Mexico and Its Contemporary Social Challenges on Wednesday 12th November 2025. The program started with a presentation about Mexico and its social issues, followed by the screening of a Mexican movie titled “Radical”. The students were engaged in relevant activities after the screening of the movie.
This activity allowed the students to understand Mexican social reality beyond stereotypes and reinforce universal values: education, empathy, leadership, and hope in the students. It also promoted intercultural understanding by comparing social problems between Mexico and their own country. Additionally, it improved their listening skills in Spanish.
