The Computer Science department has been established since 2002 and has the privilege to be amongst the first departments launched in NUML apart from languages. The department is offering Bachelors, Masters and PhD programs in Computer Science. The salient features of the department are the winning ratio of numerous programming competition awards and innovative research in high impact factor journals. The qualified faculty members from international and national universities are hired, and fully dedicated to impart quality teaching with innovative ways of teaching. Besides, the department is fully equipped with the state of art computers labs and digital classrooms equipped with the latest digital trends. We are aiming to provide the best computer scientist to aid the national and international level who can meet the demands of the industry and academia. 

Overview

Computer Science (CS) and Engineering classes commenced in NUML, Islamabad in January 2002 and August 2006, respectively. The Faculty of Engineering and CS (FE & CS) was established in October 2008. It is the youngest but most dynamic faculty in the university. Offering state of the art education in the most advanced fields of the world. The department has grown exponentially since its establishment. We are providing high tech education to the students from a blend of socioeconomic backgrounds.
