Machine Learning Workshop

East Campus

AI is a branch of Computing that deals with the ability of a machine to closely imitate intelligent human behavior. Today, the importance of AI-ML is being felt in almost every domain. Therein arises the need for students to be AI-ML proficient.  Industry Liaison Office at Faculty of Engineer and Computing organised a workshop to create an awareness among students about the future in machine learning and to get students prepared for a bright career in machine learning. Mr. Usama Imtiaz was the resource person. He is an ML Engineer, Data Scientist, Humanized Game Mechanics Expert, Evolutionary Game Expert, Senior Lecturer at Bahria University, co-founder of Ayraxs and Master Trainer having multiple certifications and experience in the domain. The workshop helped students gain valuable insights regarding ML, AI and Datascience Corelation.

Webinar on One-Day Virtual Workshop on Content Writing by English Alumni Society (EAS)

The English Alumni Society's recent Virtual Content Writing Workshop, featuring Dr. Fizza Khan Durrani, a seasoned freelancer and content writer, was a resounding success. Dr. Durrani, a Doctor of Physical Therapy, began her freelancing journey in 2017, specializing in content writing and later expanding into content creation and social media management. In 2021, she established FBF, an empowering platform offering comprehensive training programs for budding content writers and plans for future courses in graphic design and content creation. The workshop provided invaluable insights into content writing, platform navigation, job opportunities, and client acquisition. The interactive Q&A session garnered a significant turnout, maxing out the participant limit. A monumental success indeed.

Welcome party for BS English 1st Semester Students of Fall 2023

Under the supervision of department of English (UGS) the students of 2nd and 3rd semesters arranged a welcome ceremony on 17 October, 2023 for 1st semester students. Participants showcased their talent and presented national songs, sufiana kalam and cultural performances in exuberant way. The event projected students' cultural diversity and talent in spectacular manner.
