Workshop on Writing Statement of Purpose Organized by Career Planning Society (CPS) on 30th Nov, 2023
The Career Planning Society, Department of English (UGS) organized a workshop focusing on crafting a compelling Statement of Purpose, at Confucious Hall on 30th November 2023. The event was organized to assist the students in improving the content of the application to target international scholarships. Dr Aziz Ullah Khan was invited as a speaker, who is a faculty member of the Department of English (UGS) and an awardee of three international scholarships. He shared his first-hand knowledge about targeting international scholarships. The lecture was followed by a question-answer session and a practice exercise to write a Statement of Purpose using the given guidelines. The session was attended by students and faculty members. The session helped the students advance their academic and professional pursuits.

On the national day of Sindhi Culture, a seminar was held at Pakistani languages department NUML. Respected Dr Manzoor Ali Veesrio gave a detail lecture on Sindhi culture in contemporary. Dr Jamil Ahmed Jami, dean of languages, presided over the seminar.

Friedrich Noumann Foundation oragnised a two days course for the Economics students on "The CraftEcon School: Economics Redefined" on 24-25 November, 2023. The Department of Economics with the collaboration of NPDC, NUML nominated four students for this session

A seminar on Facilitation for Differently Abled Persons (DAPs) on 1st December 2023 was held in Iqbal hall Ibn-e-Rushd. Mr. Khalid Naeem, a distinguished figure and former Director General of Special Education, graciously led the session, shedding light on the challenges faced by differently-abled individuals and advocating for inclusivity.
