Women's Empowerment through the Right of Inheritance

The Department of Pakistan Studies at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) hosted an insightful seminar on "Women's Empowerment through the Right of Inheritance," featuring a keynote address by the esteemed Dr. Munnaza Mubarak.

Dr. Mubarak discussed in detail the Prevention of Anti-Women Practices Act and the role of the Enforcement of Women's Property Rights Act. She highlighted how securing inheritance rights enhances women's decision-making power and financial security, and emphasized the role of universities in sensitizing youth to the equitable distribution of assets.
