16th Korean Speech Contest

On April 29, the Department of Korean Language and Culture, in collaboration with the Islamabad King Sejong Institute at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Pakistan, successfully organized the 16th Korean Language Speech Contest. 🇵🇰🇰🇷

A total of 14 talented students participated in the competition, presenting on a variety of topics. Each participant demonstrated outstanding Korean language proficiency, making the contest both engaging and highly competitive.

1st Place: Ms. Laraib Fatima

2nd Place: Ms. Zarish Suleman

Topic: “If Words Connect, Hearts Connect Too”

3rd Place: Ms. Aniqa Mehar

Topic: “The Moment I Felt I Was the Coolest”

The event was further enriched by vibrant cultural performances. Students dressed in traditional Korean attire (Hanbok), presented a graceful "Fan Dance" and an energetic K-Pop performance of “Paradise of Rumors” by AKMU.

Overall, the event beautifully highlighted the students’ enthusiasm and deep appreciation for Korean Culture.
