Remembering the Resilience: 8th October Memorial Seminar at NUML Mirpur Campus
On 8th October, the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Mirpur Campus, organized a solemn seminar to observe National Disaster Awareness Day and honor the memory of the lives lost in the devastating 2005 earthquake.
Faculty members, administrative staff, and students gathered in the Seminar Room to pay tribute to the victims, express solidarity with surviving families, and reflect on the lessons learned. The session highlighted the vital importance of structural disaster preparedness, emergency response training, and the enduring resilience of the people of Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
