I am currently working as Assistant Professor(BPS-19) in the Department of computer
Science at National University of modern Languages. My responsibilities include teach
ing various computer science subjects such as Advanced Computer networks, Automata
Theory, Advanced Wireless Networks etc. at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

During my PhD at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, I was recipient of Graduate Assis
tantship Scheme. Under this scheme, I worked as assistant to senior lecturer (Assistant
Professor). My responsibility was to teach two subjects namely Computer Networks
(SCSR2242) and Data Structure and Algorithms (SCSJ2013) at undergraduate level.
2011 - 2013
Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology, ISB, Pakistan
I had done specialization in computer networking, so I was teaching various courses re
lated to computer networks to BSCS and M.Sc students, which include network manage
ment, discrete mathematics, advance computer networks, Telecommunication protocols
and network, Data Structures and Algorithms, network simulation etc. I am also a Cisco
Certified Academic Instructor (CCAI) instructor and was the head of Cisco academy at
the university.
2009 - 2010
Nayatel Pvt. LtD, ISB, Pakistan
I worked at Nayatel Pvt. Ltd. as a Network Support Engineer. Nayatel is the leading ISP
in Islamabad and pioneer for deploying Fiber to the user (FTTU) in Pakistan. Initially I
worked in technical assistance center (TAC), where I use to resolve customer issues re
garding router configuration, multinating, port forwarding and other issues regarding
DSL and Fiber services. Later on, I joined TAC Access department where I used to con-
figure ALCATEL ONT’s creating physical path for data and voice from customer end to
our end. Creating VLAN’s on ATM aggregation (Alcatel LANX) device and maintenance
and troubleshooting of several other devices i.e. DHCP server, switches, DSLAMs.
2007 - 2009
Arid Agriculture University RWP, Pakistan
i worked as a visiting lecturer at Arid for almost two years. There i taught Mobile and
Wireless Networks course to MSCS, which includes simulation of basic wired, wireless
and adhoc networking scenarios in NS2 simulator.
2004 - 2007
S.B International Pvt. Ltd, RWP, Pakistan
I worked as IT Manager at S.B International Pvt. Ltd. My job was to manage the network
between our various offices. Conduct Online meeting and make sure that the company
services and resources are available online.
