Teaching Practice - Fall 2022

Department of Education was established in 2002 is currently running programs of B.Ed (Hons), MA Education BS Health and Physical Education, MPhil Education and PhD Education. Teaching practice is a mandatory ingredient for award of degree in B.Ed (Hons) and MA Education Programs. Current years teaching practice is underway, scheduled wef 15th April 2022 to 15th May 2022 in public sector schools and colleges of Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), Islamabad (Separately for Boys and Girls). Workshop on CEFR and English Language Levels for Regional Campuses

The Department of English Language Teaching organized  one-day Online workshop on Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and English Language Levels on 7th September, 2022 at Digital Video Conference Room, Roomi Block.The participants of this workshop were langauge teachers of NUML Regional campuses and the language teachers of  the Department of English Language Teaching.

Books Donation to the Hostel of Orphanage Students

Students and Teachers of Department of Education have collected new books for donation to library of an Orphanage Hostel in connection with the celebrations of “International Literacy Day”. This hostel is a Project of Falah Foundation in Choa Saidan Shah, District Chakwal. Falah Foundation is a Punjab based Charity duly registered with the Social Welfare Department since 2002. FALAH stands for Foundation for Awareness, Literacy, Agriculture and Health. This Specific Hostel is founded for the Children of Shuhada and is situated with Fouji Foundation School, Choa Saidan Shah.

In finance, apart from the book knowledge it is very important for the students to be acquainted with the actual practices in the market. What are stock exchanges? What is the role of stock exchange in providing liquidity to the investors?

A Webinar on “Increasing Fortune by Islamic Investing Strategies: Maximizing Your Wealth with Mutual Funds”

The webinar was arranged to educate the audience about the awareness of Islamic finance and mutual funds, particularly in Pakistan. The webinar was very useful in providing an in-depth understanding of Islamic investment options. Moreover, the audience had fruitful interaction with the presenters. The presenters shared their knowledge and practical experience related to the mutual fund industry in Pakistan. In a nutshell, the seminar was a source of highlighting the role of mutual funds in the financial industry of Pakistan

Accounting Mind Mapping Activity

Accounting Mind Mapping Activity (AMMA) arranged by Numl Finance Soceity. A mind map involves writing down a central theme and thinking of new and related ideas which radiate out from the centre. By focusing on key ideas written down in your own words and looking for connections between them, you can map knowledge in a way that will help you to better understand and retain information. Students of BSAF 3 and BS Commerce 3 performed wornderful job.
