His Excellency, Mr. Park Ki Jun, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, invited the faculty of the Department and the participants of the 15th Korean Speech Contest to a dinner at his residence on May 13th (Tuesday). His Excellency, Ambassador Park, praised the Department of Korean Language & Culture and its Head, Mr. Ahtisham Hussain, for their unwavering efforts in promoting Korean language and culture in Pakistan, as well as fostering mutual understanding between Pakistan and Korea.

On May 2, 2025, the Department of Korean Language & Culture at NUML, with support of Embassy of the Republic of Korea, organized “Korean Movie Day” and the Ambassador’s Lecture, “Korea Meets Young Pakistan.” His Excellency Mr. Park Ki Jun, the Ambassador of Korea, graced the event as the Chief Guest. The Honorable Rector, NUML praised the Embassy’s role and reaffirmed NUML's commitment to fostering international collaboration. The Department of Spanish Language celebrated "World Book Day & Spanish Language Day” on 22nd April 2025 at Video Conference Room, Rumi Block from 10:00 to 12:00 hours. Ms. Ana Gatica, a researcher and scholar from University of Buenos Aires, Argentina was the guest speaker who participated online and shared her insights about the significance of this day. All students of certificate, diploma and BSL&TS with Spanish major also presented their favorite books and shared their passion for reading.
