Self Assessment

Self Assessment is an assessment conducted by the institution to assess whether programs meet their educational objectives and outcomes with the purpose to improve programs’ quality and enhancing student learning.

· The department forms  Program Team (s) (PT) to facilitate and coordinate with the QEC.

· The Program Team of the department  submits the Self Assessment Report (SAR) to QEC through the respective Dean.

· The Program Team (s) shall provide all information/documents as and when required by the QEC through the respective Dean.

· The Program Team coordinates for the visits of QEC and Assessment Team, meetings with Assessment Team and follow up by QEC.

· The Program Team submits an Implementation Plan to QEC based on the report of QEC to the Rector through the respective Dean.

· The PT reports to QEC each time an action is taken on the Implementation Plan through the respective Dean.

Self Assessment Procedure

· Each academic program undergoes Self Assessment (SA) every two years.

· The QEC plans, coordinates and follows up the self-assessment activities.

· The departments meet the deadlines as planned by the QEC.
