ALLAMA IQBAL SOCIETY NUML (AISN)
Allama Iqbal Society NUML (AISN), is a university level society of National University of Modern Languages, run by Persian Department. AISN is active since 2016. This society has arranged series of lectures on Iqbal’s thoughts, university level essay writing competitions, inspirational and enlightening thoughts on Iqbal’s message.
Formatting & Functioning:
Vision: Actualization of Iqbal’s vision of Better Individuals for Better Society.
Mission: Promoting Iqbal’s soulful thoughts to educate the individuals and society.
Objective: Core objective of Allama Iqbal Society NUML is to engage teachers, students in co-academic activities in the field of Iqbal Studies. Some specific areas of interest are as follows:
- To educate students about different dimensions of Iqbal’s personality.
- To create awareness about Iqbal’s works in all the three languages Urdu, English and Persian
- To organize inspirational talksfor better understanding of Allama Iqbal’s thoughts
- To collaborate with other like-minded societies and clubs within and without for promoting Iqbal’s ideas.
