Journal of Research in Social Sciences (JRSS)
Manuscripts from following branches of social sciences can be submitted to JRSS:
Education, Economics, Religious Studies, Social Studies, History, Linguistics, Psychology, Political Science, International Relations, and
Sociology. JRSS considers following types of scholarly work for publication in the field of Social Sciences:
1.Regular articles: These should describe new and carefully confirmed findings.
Research procedures should be given in sufficient detail for others to verify the work. The length of a full paper should be the minimum 3000 words required to describe and interpret the work clearly.
2.Theoretical Articles/ Review articles (Meta- Analysis): Theoretical articles are based on developed theoretical frameworks with careful analysis of the researches done
earlier in the area. The length of theoretical articles should be from 5000- 6000 words.
3.Commentaries: Commentaries; generally, are researchers, policy makers, educators, and experts' views, opinions, observation and commentary on the topics of their interest in the field. Commentaries are described as original opinions or analyses dealing with issues and events of concern to scholars working in the field. Commentaries should contain from 1200 to 1600 words.
4.Research Notes: Research Notes focuses on sharing the results of current researches of the researchers in their field with others. Research Notes include reports of the results of empirical inquiry, discussions of methodological issues, and scholarly analyses. It can contain tables of results or other data displays from quantitative analyses. Usually research notes may contain 2000 to 3500 words.
While submitting articles for publication in JRSS, researcher
should mention to which category his/her article does belong.
