This course
addresses the governance and organizational issues with reference
to Pakistan
in a comparative perspective to other countries .The need for good
governance in public sector organizations is being highlighted by
the governments, locally and internationally for achieving greater
citizen satisfaction and welfare. The course offers immense scope
and future potentials in Pakistan . The
Government of Pakistan is implementing an agenda of Governance
Reforms to accelerate growth and poverty reduction. Public
Participation and citizen empowerment is initiating certain
improvements in different public service delivery systems.

The
program offers two degrees with intake twice a year (January and
August). The selection of students is based upon a written test
followed by an interview. The learning outcome of students will be

BSc
(Honours) in Governance & organizational Sciences
|
|
A
full-fledge four year program with 8 semesters (160 Credit hours)
for the students who are well-grounded in general academic
knowledge and skills. This degree will give a detailed insight and
skills in issues of governance, society, public administration and
organizations
|

|
MSc
in Governance and Organizational Sciences
|
|
|
A
two year program with 4 semesters (80 Credit hours) most suitable
for the students holding a bachelors degree in business
administration, commerce and general and social sciences .Also
professionals working at various levels of governance. The aim of this
program is to prepare the students for a career in the field of
public as well as private sector organizations.

The
modules revolve around the relationship between different
disciplinary conceptions of social reality and how reality is
represented .Comparative analysis on the processes, effects and
implications of public regulatory reform, role of political
