Following Programs are offered by Confucius Institute at NUML,
Programs are divided into morning and evening sessions.
Morning Courses:
Chinese Language Pre-Job training
It is mainly offered to those who have completed college
education in Chinese language and literature and are preparing to do
a job of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Pakistan.

Evening Courses:
1.
CERTIFICATE: Business Chinese
(Beginners, Elementary and Intermediate)
The learners will acquire the following abilities
through this course:
(1)
Basic Chinese Knowledge and skills that are applicable to
one’s commercial activities.
(2)
Competence for cross-cultural communication in the context of
economic and cooperative interchange – a wide range of knowledge of
business and custom rules in addition to the background information
of Chinese cultural.

Change Language Training for HSK Test (Beginners, Elementary,
Intermediate and Advanced)
The HSK is a test designed to assess the Chinese language
proficiency of non-native speakers from beginners to advanced level.
Confucius Institute at NUML is now the only certified HSK testing
center in Pakistan and will hold HSK tests on May 18 and October 19
at Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad simultaneously.

3.
Certificate: Basic Chinese for Study in China
This program offers Chinese language training to those who want to
study in China, this means to give pre-departure understanding of
Chinese language and culture to people which will help them adjust
into the new environment with greater case.

Chinese Language Training for Staff from Companies
Confucius Institute arranges teaching schemes and language practice
activities meticulously. In order to meet the company’s need,
Listening and Speaking Skills courses are tailor made.
After one semester students are expected to work independently with
Chinese language.
