1. NUML offers following short courses of
languages and orientation during summer vacation: -
a.
Language
Courses. (Minimum Qualification:
Matriculation & Matriculation
appeared);-
(1) Arabic (for
beginners) (2) Chinese
(3) English (4) French (5) German
(6) Japanese (7) Korean (8) Persian
(9) Russian (10) Spanish (11) Urdu (For Foreigners)
b.
Arabic (Advance)
(Minimum Qualification Matric
and knowledge of Arabic)
c.
TOEFL and IELTS
(Minimum Qualification: Matric
& Matric appeared).
d.
Literature &
Linguistics Orientation Course which can lead to subsequent admission to MA
(Literature & Linguistics) in English.
(Minimum Qualification:
Graduation 2nd Div).
e.
Orientation
Course for Teachers.
(Minimum Qualification: Graduation).
2. The courses will be arranged in
accordance with the following schedule:-
a. Duration - 09 June to 11 July 2008
b. Timings - 0815 – 1215 hours
c. Days - Five days a week
Mondays
through Fridays
3. Prospectus can be obtained from the
University Main Campus on payment of Rs. 350/- in
cash and Rs. 450/- by post.
4. Transport facility on specific routes
in Rawalpindi/Islamabad is available on payment.
5. Last date for receipt of application
forms is 02 June 2008.
